Travel information
Please be aware that you will need transportation to and from Skowhegan. While there, we will carpool to minimize on the amount of vehicles.
Hotel information
We will be staying at The Towne Motel, 172 Madison Ave, Skowhegan, ME 04976 (207) 474-5151. Please note: Your rooms are not included in the cost of your ticket. You MUST call the hotel and secure a room IN THE ROOM BLOCK. Please be at the hotel by 2pm on August 15th.
Clothing
It is summer. Dress accordingly. Days can be hot and evenings perhaps chilly. At the Fairgrounds, we will encounter dust and dirt so, care for your camera as well as yourself. Mosquitoes may be an issue so, dress accordingly and have bug spray. Hats and sunglasses for the heat of mid day. Boots/hiking shoes that are good in mud, dirt, dust. Sneakers or open toe sandals not advised.
Refund Policy – Adventures
For most Photo Adventures, a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the workshop is required to hold a spot. Please note: Deposits are non-refundable, but you can receive a 50% credit toward a future adventure. Within 45-days, all payments are non-transferable.
For Photo Adventures under $1,000, we may only have the total cost payment option. In this case, 25% is non-refundable.
For national adventures (excluding Alaska), final payments are due one month prior to the start of the workshop.
For international adventures (and Alaska), final payments are due 90-days prior to the start of the workshop. We strongly encourage travel insurance!
