What to Bring:
  • Bring your camera with a memory card.
  • For lenses, you have a variety of options. Standard portrait lenses are between 70mm and 135mm, but you can also use wider lenses, such as 50mm.
    Recommended Prerequisites:
    Basic Knowledge of your Camera

    Indoor and studio doesn’t mean you have to resort to creating boring portraits! Join photographer Henry Marte in creating dynamic portraits using a combination of lighting, posing, and more!   Henry will use simple tools, colors, and techniques to create awesome portraits! Bring your camera and a lens!

    Please note: We have a few of these sessions throughout the weekend! Click here to see all available sessions, as well as our other seminars and experiences. These sessions will be smaller in group size, giving you more of a chance to ask questions! In case of inclement weather, we may hold the sessions indoors.

     

    About Henry Marte
    Henry is a published photographer and credited filmmaker. He specializes in various forms of photography, including portrait, events, headshots, drone, and commercial photography. Other than attending MassArt’s Documentary Film School, he is almost entirely self taught. He runs a small media production studio called Marte Media, based out of Western Avenue Studios in Lowell. Some of his clients include Spartan Race, UMass Lowell, Phillips Academy, Navigation Brewing Company, and more. Originally from NYC, he now calls Lowell, Massachusetts his home. He enjoys New York style pizza, walks with a camera, and hiking to active volcanoes.
