Join Hunt’s Education for a walk at Blithewold Manor, Gardens, and Arboretum in Bristol, Rhode Island!

Blithewold is an historic estate that includes a 45-room mansion, gardens with a variety of plants and flowers, and an accessible greenhouse. The summer mansion was originally built in the late-19th century, but was rebuilt in the early 20th century after a fire destroyed the initial structure. It reflects the changing style of architecture to fit modern needs.  The mansion was designed to be the centerpiece of the gardens, which included a variety of trees and plants not native to the area. The estate also contains beautiful views of the Narragansett Bay. On this walk, we will split our time between the manor and the gardens.

Please note: There are no tripods allowed on the grounds. A fast lens is recommended for shooting in the manor and a standard zoom or macro for the grounds, gardens, and arboretum.

Also: The cost of this walk does NOT include the cost of entrance to Blithewold. Tickets are $22 and should be purchased at the Welcome Center when you arrive.
