DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, November 8th starting at 5pm\, Canon and Hunt’s Photo will host a DeLorean Time Machine Photoshoot Experience that will be sure to make history! \nWe will have the converted DeLorean (pictured) on site from 5-7pm\, illuminated courtesy of Nanlite\, in our Hunt’s Photo Melrose store parking lot.  Canon will also have loaner gear available to borrow\, starting at 4:30pm. \nAny attendee will have the opportunity to photograph the DeLorean\, but registration is encouraged! \nPlease note: This experience is weather dependent. The rain date is Saturday November 9th.

DESCRIPTION:The photographer needs to possess the lighting\, posing\, and communication skills to create “flattering portraits” consistently\, on demand.  This presentation will cover “corrective techniques” or how to make “real” people look good. For example: wide or thin faces\, crooked or big noses\, glasses\, wrinkles or scars\, lazy eyes\, deep set eyes\, receding hair\, etc. This workshop will cover lighting\, both flattering and effective\, posing for maximum impact\, choosing color or black and white\, and how to set the mood. It will also cover communication skills for helping your subject relax and be authentic\, and also for guiding them to expressions that match the mood and lighting are explored in detail. \nThere will be a brief opportunity towards the end of the session for attendees to photograph each other. SUMMARY:Hunt's Photo Experience: The Joys of Focus Stacking with Lisa Cuchara and OM-System
DESCRIPTION:Focus stacking is a technique that allows you to create an image with great subject depth of field yet still retaining beautiful backgrounds. It allows you to you create images with an astounding depth of field without cluttered backgrounds by blending (i.e. stacking) several images together. Have a chance to borrow an OM SYSTEM camera and try in-camera focus stacking and/or bring the camera that you already own and manually focus bracket (and stack later in software) for awesome subject depth of field.  During focus bracketing/stacking\, each stacked individual image is focused in a different spot\, so the combined depth of field is deeper than the depth of field produced by any of the individual images. Focus stacking is not just about getting the most overall sharpness in your macro\, close-up\, flower\, insect\, product and landscape photography\, it also offers incredible selective focus. Typically focus stacking requires software\, but it can be easily done in-camera with Olympus and OM SYSTEM cameras. All digital camera photographers welcome. Setups will be provided. \nAbout Lisa Cuchara \nLisa Cuchara\, PhD\, OM SYSTEM Ambassador\, Master Craftsman (PPA)\, Master of Artistry (PPA)\, Master of Photography (M. Sony will also provide free loaner gear with the latest Sony cameras and lenses to maximize your experience of this energetic\, jaw dropping experience! \nWe will have an introductory presentation that discusses appropriate settings at approximately 7pm in our Melrose classroom.
