Video Basics is geared for photographers that want to use their camera for occasional videos! This is the class that is going to give you insight into the basic settings and why to set them; how to take full advantage of the best qualities of your camera\, and leaves a lot of the higher-end technical stuff out of the picture.\nIn this jam-packed course\, we?ll cover basic camera settings (some of which you?re used to from still photography); basic menu settings such as frame rates\, resolution\, and codecs; framing\, composition\, and cinematography basics. The goal of this course is to send you on your way much more confident about how to set up your next video.

SUMMARY:Macro & Close-Up Photography Workshop- Hunt's Photo Providence
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, come work with macro photography! If you’re just starting out\, learn some of the basics like aperture\, shutter speed\, focus\, exposure\, and composition!  If you have a little bit of experience\, you’ll have the chance to learn more advanced techniques\, such as lighting\, building set-ups\, story telling\, and fine-tuning exposure and composition. We’ll also cover how to use macro lenses and extension tubes and more!\nWe will be bringing lots of props to photograph\, including flowers\, toys\, trinkets\, and more. However\, we find in our macro workshops that our attendees value shooting some things of their own as much if not more than what we bring. So\, while we will have props\, feel free to bring your own props\, trinkets\, and other things that may (or may not) be important to you!\nAdded bonus! Want to learn a bit more about the editing process? Sign up for “Edit & Print” option below and you can stay for an additional section of the afternoon where we’ll work on editing an image with the group and make a really awesome 13×19″ print! There is so much to photograph there and a wonderful variety of subject matter\, including textures\, angles\, and compositions that can lead to some truly excellent photographs.
